Dancewear- Students must wear comfortable form fitting attire to display proper body alignment and allow for easy movement. (Baggy t-shirts, baggy shorts, blue jeans, jewellery or other inappropriate attire will not be allowed.) Hair should always be securely pulled away from the face. A bun is required for ballet class and canvas, split-sole ballet shoes are preferred.
*Parent and Child- comfortable, stretchy clothing for adults and children. Socks, ballet slippers, or booties with grips
*Buds Ballet – Pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in a bun (option- pink skirt)
* Ballet 1 & 2- Black leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes, hair in a bun (option- pink skirt)
*Ballet 3 & Teen- Black leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes (option- black skirt)
*Contemporary 1 & 2, Teen – Black leotard, pink or black tights rolled to calf height. (Option to wear dance pants or shorts over top). Bare feet or foot undies
*Jazz Funk- Comfortable, form fitting clothes. Black jazz shoes
*Hip Hop 1 & 2- Comfortable clothing, indoor shoes (with white soles)
*Teen Stretch & Strength– Form-fitting, comfortable attire and bare feet or socks
Drop-In Dance Information:
The studio will be open 15 minutes prior to the start of class.
Please come dressed in dance attire, as changing space is limited.
Dance attire includes: comfortable, stretchy and somewhat form-fitting clothing, dance tights or leotard (if desired)
Ballet- Soft Ballet Shoes
All other Dance & Fitness- Bare feet or INDOOR only shoes. (Shoes must have a white sole in order to maintain the quality of the professional dance floor)
Please remove all outdoor footwear on the mats near the entrance.
What to Bring: A water bottle (tap water is not safe to drink)
What Not to Bring: Cellular phones and technological devices must be turned off/on silent and are not permitted in class.
